Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during night shifts. Ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor ECG rhythms, administer medications, and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Comply with all hospital policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Facilitate patient education regarding treatment plans and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio license or current Compact State license required.
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Ability to work night shifts, including every other holiday.
• Successful passing scores on ECG rhythm and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
