Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele RN to provide high-quality patient care on day shifts. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in medical-surgical telemetry and hold valid licensure in Ohio or a Compact state.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical tele unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to cardiac emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain updated charts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Comply with all facility policies, including holiday coverage requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent perm experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• Hold a valid Ohio license or Compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• Be certified in BLS and ACLS, active and unexpired.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests during orientation.
• Provide a recent (within 12 months) reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.
