Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit. Support patient recovery, safety, and comfort through skilled clinical interventions and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and bedside interventions following hospital protocols.
• Recognize and respond promptly to abnormal ECG rhythms and clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including certifications and license requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or Compact State license in Nursing at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent and/or travel experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Have active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration.
• Provide two managerial references from the past 12 months.
• Successfully complete the ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
