Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory care to patients across various settings, ensuring optimal respiratory function and compliance with clinical protocols. Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement airway management and ventilation strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ respiratory status and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol treatments, and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
• Assist with airway management procedures such as intubation and bronchoscopy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RT license in Georgia or a Compact license required.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory care.
• Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, airway management, and arterial blood sampling.
• Ability to work independently and function effectively in critical care environments.
• Strong understanding of neonatal and adult respiratory procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
