Job Summary:
The MRI Tech is responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations on patients in accordance with established protocols. This role ensures accurate imaging to assist physicians with diagnosis, while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment following specified protocols to produce clear diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Verify patient identification and review medical histories to determine appropriate imaging procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
• Document procedures accurately within the electronic health record system.
• Comply with safety standards related to radiation and patient exposure.

Qualifications:

• Possess 2+ years of experience performing MRI examinations.
• Hold current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and applicable state license (if required).
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment.
• Knowledgeable in performing various MRI procedures including general, breast, cardiac, and specialized exams.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
