Job Summary:
Seeking a Certified Surgical Technician with a minimum of 2 years recent experience in general surgery. The role involves supporting surgical teams during procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies.
• Prepare the operating room by sterilizing equipment and setting up surgical tools.
• Monitor and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
• Follow all safety protocols and adhere to hospital policies during surgeries.
• Document surgical procedures and assist with post-operative cleanup.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification renewal activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Ohio license or compact license with start date on or after 01/01/23.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in surgical or related specialties.
• Hold current AHA BLS certification.
• Provide two recent references from managerial or supervisory roles within the past 12 months.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Complete background checks and drug screens, including nicotine testing if applicable.
