Job Summary:
Certified Surgical Technicians are responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and supporting surgical teams with essential technical tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of general surgery practices and compliance with facility protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical team members during procedures by passing sterile instruments and supplies.
• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and ensuring all surgical tools are available and functioning properly.
• Maintain strict sterile techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
• Support patient positioning and provide localization for surgical interventions.
• Follow all safety protocols, document procedures accurately, and adhere to facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of PERM or CST experience, with general surgery background preferred.
• Current Ohio license (compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 & forward).
• Active BLS certification.
• Two recent managerial references within the last 12 months in the surgical specialty.
• Knowledge of ECG rhythm recognition, with passing scores on orientation assessments.
• Ability to recognize and respond to various ECG rhythms and surgical needs.
