Job Summary:
The Surgical Process Tech supports perioperative workflow by preparing rooms and ensuring a clean, ready environment for surgical teams. This role assists with patient transport, room turnover, and equipment readiness while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and restock surgical rooms to support day-of-surgery readiness.
• Perform room cleaning, turning over spaces, and maintaining sterile-adjacent practices.
• Transport patients and assist with safe movement in accordance with established procedures.
• Support surgical team workflow by coordinating supply and equipment availability.
• Follow safety and compliance requirements, including documentation and readiness checks.
• Assist with unit preparation and orientation activities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active BLS certification with no pending renewal requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrate 1+ year of customer service experience in a healthcare or customer-facing setting.
• Complete 18 months of combined related experience in the specialty.
• Obtain and maintain a permanent Ohio license in hand at submission (compact licenses accepted for eligible start dates).
• Provide two current manager/ANM/supervisor/director references from the specialty (not coworkers), from the prior 12 months.
