Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide skilled therapy services at a Veterans Home for a 13-week assignment. The role offers guaranteed hours and a competitive rate, supporting the well-being of residents through rehabilitative care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer occupational therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions and care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment programs.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license or certification.
• Possess previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exhibit the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain current CPR and BLS certifications.
