Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I trauma center. The technician will support angiography and IR procedures in a high-acuity environment, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to protocols.



Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain advanced IR equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream systems.
  
• Assist in performing procedures such as Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma interventions.
  
• Collaborate with RN and physician teams to ensure patient safety and procedural success.
  
• Document all procedures accurately in the EPIC Cupid system.
  
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage critical care medications as needed.
  
• Adhere to hospital protocols, dress code, and unit policies, including ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Valid Radiologic Technology license with ARRT certification.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of IR and critical care experience.
  
• Proven proficiency with IR procedures and equipment.
  
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
• Ability to work 4–10-hour shifts with on-call availability.
  
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
