Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist specializing in IR/Special Procedures is responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures within the interventional radiology suite. The role supports IR and vascular surgeons, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care during complex procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Execute a wide range of IR procedures, operating imaging equipment such as Phillips Flex Arm C-Arm and Siemens Artis Pheno C-Arm.
• Prepare and maintain the IR suite, hybrid OR, and multi-purpose rooms to ensure a sterile and efficient environment.
• Support surgeons by scrubbing and circulating during procedures, adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure all imaging and procedural documentation complies with hospital policies and standards.
• Respond to patient needs and monitor patient condition throughout procedures.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of radiologic technologist experience, with experience in IR preferred.
• Certification in BLS and ARRT registration required.
• Skilled in operating Phillips Flex Arm and Siemens Artis Pheno C-Arms.
• Ability to scrub and circulate in a broad range of IR procedures.
• Licensed or eligible to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in GA or a Compact State.
• Demonstrate excellent patient care and communication skills.
