Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards. This role involves managing acute and post-acute care needs across multiple high-acuity units.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously.
• Document patient care activities and clinical observations in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, including trauma and critical incidents.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and post-discharge care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with relevant clinical experience in MedSurg, Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Oncology, or related units.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR systems and Level 1 trauma protocols.
• Possess current BLS certification.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of recent travel or permanent experience in acute care settings.
• Be well-rounded with strong clinical skills across multiple nursing specialties.
• Hold a driver’s license with an address more than 50 miles from the facility.
