Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit RN for night shifts to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry skills, IV insertion expertise, and the ability to adapt to varying patient acuity levels.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including telemetry readings and strip interpretation.
• Perform IV starts and other clinical procedures following protocol.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and notify physicians as needed.
• Maintain compliance with certification requirements and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess, or be eligible for, WV or Compact RN license with pending license considered.
• Minimum of 1.5–2+ years of recent Stepdown or Telemetry nursing experience.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in telemetry, IV insertion, and patient assessment.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts with availability for some weekends and holidays.
