Job Summary:

Registered Nurse needed for Cardiac Cath Lab/EP, providing advanced peri-procedural care for complex cardiac interventions. The role requires strong cath lab competency alongside critical care skills to support patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac cath and EP procedures, ensuring readiness and appropriate documentation.
• Recover and monitor patients following cardiac caths, PCIs, PFO, CTOs, and EP interventions.
• Assess and manage post-procedure status, recognizing complications and escalating concerns promptly.
• Administer medications and provide coordinated nursing care according to protocol and patient condition.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including vital signs, assessments, and procedure-related documentation.
• Support a safe, sterile workflow by following aseptic technique and unit standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active CA Registered Nurse license at time of submission.
• Possess 2+ years of Cath Lab experience.
• Provide 1+ year of ICU, ER, or PACU experience.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong recovery skills for cardiac caths, PCIs, PFO, CTOs, and EP procedures including pacemakers, BiV, AICD, and Cryo.
• Provide 2 references from the past 1 year of employment from a supervisor or higher (no Charge RN).
