Job Summary:

Registered Nurse needed for Cath Lab/EP support on the day shift, delivering safe, patient-centered care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures. This role requires strong critical care assessment skills, timely clinical interventions, and adherence to cardiology safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cath lab patients by verifying orders, history, allergies, and procedure readiness
• Assist with cardiac catheterization and EP workflow by supporting sterile technique and patient positioning
• Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic status, and patient response, escalating changes promptly
• Administer medications and manage cardiology-related care per protocol and provider direction
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Support pre- and post-procedure care, including education and discharge readiness

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with eligibility to work in the state of assignment
• Possess at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Demonstrate competency in EKG interpretation skills (EKG certification preferred)
• Complete required facility safety training, including fire and life safety certification
