Job Summary:

Registered Nurse CHS Post Procedure - Medical Step-Down provides post-procedural nursing care for Medical Surgical/Med-Tele patients. The role focuses on monitoring, assessment, and timely interventions to support safe transitions of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and vital signs and escalate changes promptly
• Monitor cardiac rhythm, telemetry, and post-procedure recovery indicators
• Administer medications and follow evidence-based post-procedural care plans
• Perform patient education and support discharge readiness and care coordination
• Implement fall precautions and infection prevention practices consistently
• Document nursing care, responses to treatment, and clinical outcomes accurately

Qualifications:

• Maintain an active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Hold current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association
• Demonstrate competency in Med-Tele/medical step-down patient monitoring and assessments
• Earn a BSN or professional nursing credential recognized by the Magnet Association (preferred)
