Job Summary:
Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Telemetry, supporting night-shift care with a focus on continuous cardiac monitoring and safe, evidence-based practice. Provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced inpatient environment while meeting all required compliance and certification standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, develop, and implement nursing care plans based on telemetry and clinical status.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret changes, and report concerning findings promptly.
• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses according to protocols and scope of practice.
• Perform frequent vital sign monitoring, maintain telemetry systems, and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education.
• Complete required pre-start and annual assessments and modules to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active permanent Ohio RN license in hand at the time of submission (compact licenses accepted for qualifying start dates).
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification with no pending requirements.
• Bring 18+ months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Demonstrate ability to recognize ECG rhythms and pass required onboarding assessments.
• Provide two professional references from a manager/ANM/supervisor/director in the specialty from the last 12 months.
• Maintain active clinical certifications and meet facility onboarding requirements without pending items.
