Job Summary:

Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Telemetry, providing high-quality care to patients with continuous cardiac monitoring needs. This role supports timely assessments, safe medication administration, and coordinated care throughout the inpatient stay.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and monitor vital signs and telemetry rhythms, responding to changes promptly.
• Administer medications and document outcomes accurately and according to clinical standards.
• Perform patient care activities including wound/skin monitoring, mobility assistance, and basic nursing interventions.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and update patient care plans.
• Maintain BLS/ACLS readiness and follow escalation protocols during clinical emergencies.
• Complete required onboarding assessments and annual/ongoing competency modules as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio RN license (permanent) or a compact license eligible for the role based on valid start timing.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications with nothing pending.
• Demonstrate competency in ECG rhythm recognition; successfully complete facility-required assessments.
• Provide two manager/ANM/supervisor/director references from assignments within the past 12 months.
• Pass required pre-start and onboarding compliance steps, including safeMedicate assessment.
