Job Summary:
Perform specialized radiation therapy procedures to deliver accurate treatment plans prescribed by physicians. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal care through competent assessment and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

• Administer routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with treatment plans.
• Assess patient condition, monitor progress, and adjust care as necessary to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Operate radiation equipment following all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Document treatment procedures accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures, expected outcomes, and safety measures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and promote best practices.

Qualifications:

• Valid State License as a Radiation Therapist or equivalent certification.
• Certified by ARRT, CRTO, or equivalent credentialing body; CPR certification required daily.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiation therapy experience.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing clinical situations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
