Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to perform accurate and safe radiation treatments in accordance with physician-developed plans. The therapist exercises clinical judgment, maintains patient safety, and collaborates effectively with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer routine and specialized radiation treatments following established treatment protocols.
• Evaluate patient condition, monitor responses, and adjust treatments as needed to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of treatments and patient responses using electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their support systems about procedures and address any concerns to foster confidence and compliance.
• Adhere strictly to all applicable regulations, safety protocols, and privacy standards during treatment delivery.
• Assist in orienting new staff and performing departmental procedures as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license as a Radiation Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience, including proficiency with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT systems.
• Must possess current AHA certifications and be able to provide copies upon submission.
• Demonstrate competence in Epic electronic charting and specific charting requirements.
• Ability to pass background checks and disclose any prior background hits or DUIs prior to submission.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 miles; local candidates accepted at a lower rate.
