Job Summary:

Assess, plan, and provide high-quality patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver compassionate, efficient care tailored to patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to changes promptly.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing education to maintain certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Ohio or Compact state nursing license.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Units.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety.
• Obtain and maintain active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Provide two recent management or supervisory references within the past 12 months.
• Be able to work every other holiday as required.
