Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week contract working in a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures with a focus on cardiovascular invasive techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, and implant pacemakers and defibrillators.
• Operate specialized cardiovascular invasive equipment and ensure high-quality patient care during procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and procedural support.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and infection control standards.
• Document procedures accurately within the EMR and follow unit policies and guidelines.
• Assist in preparing the cath lab for scheduled procedures and patient positioning.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Cath Lab Tech with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR and cardiovascular invasive procedures.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Candidates with RCIS certification are preferred.
