Job Summary:
We are seeking a experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN to provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, and other interventional therapies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and emergency drugs.
• Prepare and assist with procedures such as pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction, cardioversion, and stress tests.
• Maintain infection prevention protocols and ensure compliance with PPE and isolation precautions.
• Obtain baseline measurements, 12 lead EKG/ECG, and perform procedural sedation with vigilant monitoring.
• Document procedural details accurately and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active California RN license prior to submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, or similar setting.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Strong knowledge of radiation, laser safety, and infection control standards.
• Ability to obtain two professional references from supervisor-level or above within the past year.
