Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele RN to provide compassionate patient care on a rotating shift schedule. The role involves floating to multiple units to support hospital operations and ensure quality outcomes for the same patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Tele unit, adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
• Float between units J1-2, J33, and Emergency Department as needed to meet operational demands.
• Perform accurate assessment, documentation, and reporting of patient conditions.
• Recognize ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
• Complete required certifications and assessments during orientation, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate.
• Work at least every other holiday and comply with all travel and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Tele experience, preferably within one facility or a combined total.
• Possess a valid Ohio license or a Compact State license in hand at the time of application.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and passing assessments during orientation.
• Submit two recent management references from within the past 12 months.
• Be willing to work every other holiday and meet all drug screening requirements.
