Job Summary:
Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry setting, ensuring the delivery of safe, quality nursing services. Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess patient needs, implement care plans, and monitor patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and observe any changes in condition.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio RN license with no pending credentials.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent, full-time experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit.
• Provide two recent references from managers, supervisors, or directors within the past 12 months.
• Have current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Submit to a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen within 12 months of assignment.
