Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit during night shifts, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes. This role requires recent experience, proper licensing, and adherence to facility and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting during night shifts.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure clinical compliance with facility protocols, including certifications and assessments.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records and adhere to documentation standards.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications without pending status.
• Two recent management or supervisor references within the past 12 months.
• Ability to pass ECG and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores (up to two attempts).
