Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a telemetry unit specializing in adult and geriatric cardiopulmonary patients. The role involves monitoring, titrating drips, and providing critical care to complex patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care for cardiopulmonary diagnoses such as CHF, chest pain, and post-cardiac catheterization patients.
• Titrate and administer titratable IV drips including Nitro, Amiodarone, Lasix, Heparin, and Dopamine, following protocols.
• Review telemetry strips each shift and collaborate with monitor techs to ensure patient safety.
• Assist charge nurses with patient assignments, potentially stepping into charge nurse roles as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to clinical policies.
• Support patient care activities including assessments, medication administration, and use of specialized equipment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in Med-Surg, telemetry, or critical care settings preferred.
• Travel experience required, with ability to adapt to various unit protocols.
• Proven ability to titrate drips and manage cardiopulmonary patients.
• Strong assessment and monitoring skills with proficiency in telemetry interpretation.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and respond to emergent situations.
