Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist specializes in performing advanced CT scans and radiopharmaceutical procedures to support diagnostic imaging and patient care. This role requires ensuring high-quality imaging, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment using appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform daily quality control calibration checks on all imaging and radiation equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Inject patients with radiopharmaceuticals following physician orders and prescribed protocols.
• Document all procedures accurately by maintaining logs, manuals, charge records, and reporting equipment issues promptly.
• Conduct quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests in compliance with radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles.
• Manage patient films and electronic data for radiologists’ interpretation, ensuring proper file maintenance and retrieval.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State License (L.R.T) as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Possess at least 1 year of CT scanning experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
