Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse with recent clinical expertise to provide high-quality care for postpartum couples and deliver exceptional patient support. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Epic electronic health records and possess relevant certifications, ensuring compliance with hospital standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer postpartum and labor support care to patients in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately within Epic system.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any clinical changes.
• Educate new mothers and families on postpartum care, recovery, and newborn care.
• Maintain compliance with certification requirements and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience within the last 6 months.
• Proven experience with postpartum couplet care.
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications with no expiration within 30 days of start date.
• Valid NJ or Compact RN license (pending licenses not accepted).
• Strong knowledge of Epic electronic health records system.
• Ability to adhere to schedule requirements and hospital protocols.
