Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery unit to provide exceptional maternal care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care to patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates, contractions, and maternal vital signs to ensure safety.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth processes, postpartum care, and breastfeeding.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid NJ or Compact State Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate (or NCC C-EFM), and NRP certifications.
• Ability to interpret fetal monitoring strips and perform basic arrhythmia assessments.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and every other weekend.
