Job Summary:

Registered Nurses in this role are responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care in medical-surgical settings. They provide clinical leadership, assess patient needs, and implement individualized treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health conditions through detailed evaluations and documentation.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans based on assessment data.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing team members during shifts.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and healthcare standards, including certifications and licenses.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Illinois nursing license (Nursys verified).
• Possess 3+ years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Obtain ACLS certification within 30 days of starting position.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner EMR and relevant clinical skills.
• Submit two supervisory reference forms with employment dates.
