Job Summary:

Seeking a Compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care within Medical Surgical units. This role involves managing patient needs, ensuring safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and document clinical observations accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, including emergencies and call lights.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Float to other Medical-Surgical departments as needed, adhering to scope of practice and competencies.
• Ensure compliance with all required certifications including NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS depending on unit.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification; NIHSS and ACLS certifications preferred or required based on department.
• Proven experience in Medical-Surgical units or similar clinical settings.
• Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and float to various units as necessary.
