Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Med/Surg units responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized patient care. The role offers clinical leadership during shifts and active participation in patient assessment, planning, and education.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise healthcare team members during assigned shifts to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Coordinate patient bed assignments and care plans in collaboration with team members for consistency.
• Assess patient conditions through observation and data collection, recognizing normal and abnormal findings.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluating progress toward measurable outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management strategies and safety protocols.
• Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Illinois RN license.
• Require ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire and ACLS within 90 days of start.
• Possess prior Med/Surg experience; certification in CPR and ACLS highly preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
• Show commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education.
