Job Summary:
Registered Nurses are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care. They provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during their assigned shift to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans based on clinical findings.
• Implement nursing interventions in accordance with care plans and medical directives.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care strategies as needed.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the healthcare team to promote best practices in patient care.
• Document patient information accurately and in compliance with facility protocols.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess 3+ years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• Hold an active Illinois RN license and current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Obtain ACLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• Submit two supervisory reference forms with verified employment dates.
• Demonstrate current skills relevant to Med Surg, validated on a skills checklist within the past year.
• Candidates must have permanent addresses outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
