Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing high-risk pregnancies, neonatal care, and various delivery methods.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Assist with sterile speculum exams, non-stress tests (NST), obstetric ultrasound (OCT), reflex checks, and external fetal monitoring (EFM).
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and manage pain relief options for laboring patients.
• Support surgical deliveries including C-sections, forceps, and vacuum-assisted births, ensuring sterile procedures.
• Monitor fetal and neonatal status, providing neonatal care post-delivery.
• Document all patient interactions and clinical procedures accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state RN license with minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Previous travel L&D experience preferred.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, and NRP with intermediate fetal monitoring skills.
• Proficient in EFM, sterile speculum exams, and neonatal assessments.
• Experience with Meditech or similar charting systems is preferred.
