Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Labor and Delivery. The clinician will provide patient care during night shifts, ensuring safety and compliance within a high-acuity hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive maternal and neonatal care to patients in labor and postpartum.
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, and respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in electronic charting systems.
• Float within scope to various units based on facility needs, maintaining quality standards.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active KS State or Compact RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience, including postpartum care.
• Demonstrate current ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate-FHM, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• Be able to work night shifts (3x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Maintain recent clinical references and comply with hospital policies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
