Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week Labor and Delivery contract. The role involves providing postpartum care and supporting obstetric patients in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive bedside care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, assessing for complications
• Administer medications, including IV therapies, as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic charting systems
• Float within scope to meet unit and facility needs as required

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Kansas or a Compact State
• Minimum of 2 years of postpartum and labor and delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate-FHM, NRP
• Strong clinical skills in obstetric emergency management
• Ability to work night shifts, 3x12-hour nights from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
