Job Summary:

The Cath Lab/EP RN provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures. They collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and efficient diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre-procedure assessments and obtain informed consent from patients.
• Prepare and monitor patients during cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist physicians with invasive procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs, sedation levels, and respond to any physiological changes.
• Document procedural details and patient responses accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on procedures, post-care, and recovery processes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license for GA or a Compact state, required at submission.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in cath lab or electrophysiology, no first-time travelers.
• Proven ability to assist in complex invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Strong understanding of electrophysiology protocols and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to pass clinical screening and comply with facility policies.
