Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac step-down patients in a travel assignment, ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adhere to facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and monitors to cardiac patients in a high-acuity setting.
• Assess patient conditions regularly and document findings accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines to maintain a sterile environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding care plans.
• Ensure timely completion of patient care documentation and reporting.
• Assist with patient transfers and coordinate care activities during shift.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac or step-down unit.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring and related clinical skills.
• Be able to follow detailed protocols and adapt to dynamic patient care needs.
• Successfully complete hospital orientation and comply with facility policies.
• Ability to work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
