Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room at Mission Hospital. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced, trauma-intensive environment, ensuring patient safety and exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient vitals to manage acute conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner electronic health record system.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment processes and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 1-year experience in an emergency department or trauma center.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC certifications.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Able to adapt to dynamic clinical situations and multitask effectively.
