Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled MedSurg RN to provide compassionate patient care on the oncology floor. This 13-week assignment offers flexibility with possible extensions and requires experience managing higher patient ratios in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient vitals in accordance with medical protocols.
• Perform IV starts and manage telemetry equipment to ensure patient stability.
• Document patient progress accurately within EMR systems such as Cerner and Soarian.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive oncology and MedSurg care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and meet travel compliance requirements.
• Demonstrate at least one year of recent MedSurg experience, with oncology experience highly preferred.
• Possess BLS certification and experience with telemetry, IV insertion, and oncology care.
• Have travel experience and be comfortable with block scheduling and higher patient ratios (1:6 or 1:7).
• Be located 31-50 miles from the facility (local rate eligibility).
