Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ER Nurse to provide high-quality emergency care in a 24-hour acute care hospital. This role involves night shifts, with flexibility for floating within the department to meet patient and facility needs.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver urgent and emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on acuity and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff, including physicians and technicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic health records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including safety procedures and certification requirements.
• Float between units or sister facilities as needed to support department operations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications; CPI and TNCC preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR system.
• Be able to effectively work night shifts (3x12s, 7p-7a).
• Willing to float within scope and meet facility demands; first-timers with ER experience considered.
