Job Summary:

Assist licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative care to patients. Support patient recovery through implementing treatment plans and ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in administering treatments and therapies to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes.
• Prepare treatment areas and assist with equipment setup.
• Educate patients on exercises and injury prevention techniques.
• Document patient treatments and progress accurately.
• Maintain clean and safe therapy environments according to protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active state-specific Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification.
• Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt as needed.
• Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and patient schedules.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and equipment used in physical therapy.
