Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room setting, supporting various surgical procedures including orthopedics, total joints, neuro, and robotic surgeries. Ensure patient safety and contribute to efficient surgical workflows during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and intraoperative patient care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Act as a circulator and scrub nurse, coordinating surgical activities and maintaining sterile field.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by preparing instruments and managing operative equipment.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes or emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate smooth surgical operations.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Alaska RN license.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have at least 2 years of perioperative nursing experience, including OR and scrub roles.
• Experienced with total joint, neuro, and robotic surgeries, particularly multi-level spine fusions and Xi robotic cases.
• Demonstrate strong patient advocacy and teamwork skills.
• Credentialing as CNOR preferred.
