Job Summary:
Providing critical emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment, the Registered Nurse will deliver quality patient care, monitor vital signs, and perform essential clinical procedures. The role requires adaptability, proficiency with emergency equipment, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately to determine the necessary course of treatment.
• Administer medications, perform blood draws, and monitor vital signs using ER equipment such as EKG machines and BiPAPs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient patient flow and care delivery.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and treatments thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, utilizing skills in airway management and resuscitation as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least one year of Critical Care or Emergency Room experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures, EKG monitoring, and medication administration.
• Able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with a team-oriented approach.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Flexibility to work rotating weekends and potential on-call shifts.
