Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in CVICU and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to provide advanced critical care for adult and pediatric patients. This role involves managing ECMO support, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer specialized critical care to adult and pediatric patients in CVICU and PICU units.
• Manage ECMO devices during bedside cannulation and cannula repositioning procedures, ensuring optimal device functioning.
• Collaborate with ICU RNs and RTs to deliver comprehensive patient care according to established protocols and provider orders.
• Monitor patients with complex diagnoses such as post-cardiac surgery, cardiogenic shock, traumatic injuries, ARDS, and respiratory failure requiring ECMO support.
• Maintain documentation of patient status, device management, and procedures utilizing EPIC EMR.
• Adhere to all safety standards, certifications, and protocols related to critical care and ECMO procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least one year of ICU experience, including exposure to CVICU and PICU settings.
• Proven experience in managing ECMO devices, with specialized training or certification in ECMO support.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and SC RN license required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC EMR system and post-surgical or cardiac patient care.
• Ability to work night shifts (19:00 - 7:30) and float between CVICU and PICU units.
• Must have recent experience with adult and pediatric critical care, including ECMO device management.
