Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Medical Surgical units at a Level II Trauma Center. Candidates will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, perform wound care, and manage surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
• Prioritize patient needs, multitask effectively, and respond promptly to clinical situations.
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and modify patient care plans.
• Engage with patients and families to provide education and emotional support.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Proven ability to start IVs, perform basic wound care, and manage surgical drains.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure setting.
• Knowledge of telemetry, IV pumps, patient monitoring devices, and documentation systems.
