Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist provides essential respiratory care services to patients, following physician orders and utilizing specialized equipment. This role requires a qualified professional with current licensure and certification to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and protocols as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies accordingly to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to minimize exposure risks.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio RCP license and Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials.
• Possess BLS certification from the American Heart Association only.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating Epic, Pyxis, and other hospital applications.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and performing physical demands of the role.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
