Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients on the HVTI, Stepdown, and related units within a hospital setting. Responsible for delivering safe, quality care while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and assess patient conditions regularly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Recognize and respond promptly to patient emergencies and significant changes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and completely in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with all certification, licensing, and hospital regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact license in appropriate states at the time of submission.
• Have a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS certifications; active and without pending status.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments.
• Be able to work at least every other holiday and flexible with shift rotations.
• Ability to pass necessary assessments and background checks within specified timeframes.
