Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide surgical technologist services in a busy operating room setting, supporting surgical teams during a variety of procedures. Ensure adherence to surgical protocols and maintain a sterile environment to facilitate patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by handing instruments and managing surgical tools.
• Monitor and maintain sterile techniques throughout surgeries to prevent infection.
• Assist with patient positioning and documentation as required.
• Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment, including robotic systems and other advanced devices.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NBSTA certification and DORA credential.
• Possess a minimum of 1-year current experience as a CST in an acute care hospital setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR and robotic surgical systems.
• Have transplant, spine, or advanced surgical procedure experience preferred or considered a plus.
• Exhibit strong teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations.
